With over 15 years of experience as an automotive leader, I have held dealership executives to the highest standards of leadership and accountability. Through this journey, I discovered a fundamental truth—humans don’t naturally hold others accountable. However, when leaders cultivate an environment of openness and responsibility, creativity and innovation flourish. It is the leader’s responsibility to sustain this culture by reinforcing accountability as the foundation upon which lasting success is built.

Coaching
Coaching is about the other person. You need to be able to get out of the way to be there for that person. It is my job maintain an environment which facilitates your growth, not to force it. The role of a coach is to be receptive of the client first and foremost, only then will opportunities for growth become clear.
